Today, crime has reached such a level of sophistication, that having an armed reaction service only is not enough. The police are stretched to their limit and without communities and suburbs working together to combat crime there is little hope of the situation improving.
Not a very encouraging scenario, but there is hope. There are suburbs which we at Proforce have assisted in dramatically reducing the incidents of crime – Pro active ‘Bobby-on-the-Beat’ bicycle patrols being one of our services which have proved to be most cost effective.
Our ‘Bobby-on-the-Beat’ officers inspect our clients residence at least twice a day and if possible make contact with whoever is on the property (owner or domestic staff). These officers are in radio or cellphone contact with both our 24 hour control room and reaction vehicles.
